History:
RMC was founded in 1946 by William L. Richardson, Sr. The Company
transitioned from a dairy to a manufacturer of milk coolers and freezers.
Soon thereafter, RMC began subcontracting work for the heavy road equipment
manufacturers in the local area. Due to the shortage of copper during the
Korean War, the Company suspended manufacturing of refrigeration products
and devoted all facilities to the subcontract market. Throughout this period
the Company participated in several government
programs. Such programs included: the B47 Bomber (Boeing Aircraft), the
Titan Missile (Glenn L. Martin), and the Inertial Guidance Systems and
Nuclear Cyclatron Acceleration Chambers (Universities of Colorado and
Illinois). RMC has always maintained a high precision tool and die shop to
support such programs. |

In 1979, RMC entered a new era in manufacturing. Recognizing the fact that
implementation of new
technology was necessary in order to be competitive in the work place, RMC
introduced the use of CNC
(computerized numerical control) lathes, machining centers and coordinate
measuring machines. Even with the advent of new technologies our success has
been and always will be attributed to the highly skilled and
dedicated personnel RMC employs.

RMC is dedicated to providing quality machining and fabrication services in a timely manner and at a fair price. Our past and future success is based on the following four-point philosophy.
QUALITY - SERVICE - DELIVERY - FAIR PRICE
Service to the customer is our only business. In the words of John F. Welch, CEO of General Electric Company, "The customer either rates us better or worse than someone else. It's not very scientific, but disastrous if you score low.".
